Each of our beautiful leather journals and photo albums are hand cut and crafted using traditional methods in the same manner as generations ago. The beautiful acid-free paper inside is made from 100 percent recycled cotton - either plain white, black or flowered. The flowered and the black have fibres pressed in, such as flowers or herbs. All the stones used are semi-precious, and may be Asper, Labradorite, Moonstone, Tiger-Eye, Quartz, or Lapis Lazuli.
Real leather can have natural irregularities like discoloration, wrinkles, or stretch marks. This means that every piece is unique.
There can be a sense of unfairness after bonding with your leather journal, which has been there to collect your art, poetry, diary entries and more; but alas, has now become full. Fortunately, the warm feelings you share with your journal do not have to end, as we will be offering paper refilling/restitching kits which will come with instructions on how to refill your journal. Now your written legacy can continue year after year.
