Tax Statement

Good News: Due to the implementation of the new Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) in BC, as of July 1st, we now classify as an HST/GST tax-exempt small business. Therefore, you won't see any tax added to your orders - None, Nada, Nil, Zip, Zero - you get the point :-)

No Hassle Return Policy

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.  Goods to be returned must be properly packaged, as we can not issue a refund if your item arrives back damaged due to lack of, or inadequate packaging.  

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Special order items are not returnable.

 

Shipping  (don't worry - this isn't very complicated :)

All shipping is provided by Canada Post (except for Tiffany Style products which are shipped via UPS, Can Par, or FedEx at our expense). You may attain a shipping quote by using the shipping estimation tool in your shopping cart (just above the subtotal). This shipping tool is integrated into Canada Post's software to ensure that the most accurate quotes are generated.

Free shipping applies to orders shipped within Canada (via Expedited Parcel) and to the U.S.A. ("small packet surface USA" service for orders under 1kg or "Expedited" for orders 1kg or more).  To qualify, your order must be $99 or more.

Orders under $99 qualify for a low flat shipping rate of $8.95 within Canada and $11.54 to the USA. However, depending on the item(s) you order, lesser priced delivery options may be available.

Note: book clips and certain sterling silver pendants already include free shipping.

Free shipping does not apply to special order items.

 

Canada Post Service options which DO NOT include a tracking number:

Regular Parcel - to Canada - this is the same as Expedited service.

Small Packet Surface USA - average 5 - 10 working days depending on your location.

Small Packet Air USA - average 3 - 7 working days

 

Canada Post Service options which INCLUDES a tracking number:

Expedited - to Canada or USA (up to 12 days) - most deliveries however take place within 1 - 7 days

Xpresspost - to Canada or USA (1 or 2 days)

Priority Worldwide (1 - 3 days)

FREE SHIPPING is always via most economical GROUND DELIVERY

All orders are shipped the next business day after payment is received (unless notified otherwise).

Canadian, American and/or International statutory holidays may add an extra day to delivery times.

All applicable international duties and/or taxes above the prepaid invoice is the responsibility of the customer.

 

Tiffany Product Damage and Return/Exchange Policy

Note: Tiffany Products, are entrusted to UPS or FedEx for shipping, and shipped separately from all other gifts on our site.

For Tiffany orders shipped outside of Canada & Continental USA, please contact us before purchasing for a shipping quote, otherwise the order will not ship.

Damage: Our lamps and window panels are fully secure, packed, insured and shipped via FEDEX, Canada Post, Can Par, or UPS (Heartwood Gifts covers all shipping and insurance to destinations within Canada and Continental USA). Your lamp will be packaged VERY well and we have never experienced any breakage during shipping. However, customers should still inspect the package when the shipment is received. If any visible damage is found on the box, make a note on the carrier's delivery paper. If any inner damage is found later, you must contact us within 3 business days, we'll send you the instructions and replace the shipment. Failure to do so may forfeit your replacement.

Return and Exchange: If you're not satisfied with the merchandise you receive, return it within 10 days for a refund or exchange. Please contact us first for an authorization number for return or exchange. Please make sure the returned merchandise is packed in its original package. We do not take responsibility for return transit.
