How They Work

Each puzzle box is fitted with a "key" that is part of the design and opens after a series of 3 easy moves.  First, find and remove the wooden key by sliding it up. Then slide the top of the box off along the groove. Once the top is removed, simply lift the box lid and Voila! - a felt-lined compartment is revealed inside to store jewellery, treasures, mementos and souvenirs.

The primary wood used in our puzzle boxes is guapinol and mahogany.  As well, monkey wood, rosewood, fir and others are also used to emphasize the design features.

As these are handcrafted, no two designs are exactly alike. Each is unique and may have slight variations from the images on the web site.  These are due to such natural issues as the grain of the wood, the color tone of the wood, etc.
